The collaborative training session organized by the Karnataka Government’s Department of Agriculture, Dharwad, Irrigation Development Department, Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad, Shubodaya Farmers Foundation, Bidar and Karnataka Incubation Foundation, Dharwad proved to be a significant learning opportunity for 52 farmers from 9 Districts across Karnataka.

Held at Adarsh Balika School on June 2, 2024, the session featured Mr. Ravi Dandi, an esteemed expert, who provided comprehensive guidance on poultry management, disease prevention, various feeding methods, and the advantages of poultry farming. Moreover, insights on cost-effective sheep and goat rearing methods were shared, emphasizing the benefits of livestock farming.

The farmers exhibited a high level of satisfaction with the knowledge imparted, underscoring their enthusiasm and dedication to adopting modern agricultural practices for improved outcomes.
