On June 19, 2024, a spirited tree planting event took place at the Government Higher Primary School in Kotabagi, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Wear Steels Private Limited, Dharwad, Karnataka Incubation Foundation (KIF), and the Kotabagi Gram Panchayat. The initiative aimed to promote environmental consciousness and community involvement among students and locals alike

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children who eagerly planted saplings, contributing to the greening of their school environment with great joy and enthusiasm.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including Shri Yallappa Bhajantrti, Assistant Manager, Wear Steels Pvt Limited, Shri Raju Patil, ex-President of KSSIDC, Their presence and support added significance to the event, encouraging active participation and fostering a sense of responsibility towards environmental sustainability.
