Karnataka Incubation Foundation Dharwad organises Gram Vikas Abhyas Varga

The Karnataka Incubation Foundation, Dharwad is playing a significant role in developing the rural areas through uplifting the rural communities. Primarily, it is engaged in agricultural training, skill development, educational enhancement, entrepreneurship, and improving the living standards of the rural population.

On Sunday, August 25, 2024, KIF organized a one-day  village committee training session at Adarsha Balika Vidyalaya , Dharwad. The event saw active participation of 14 men and 17 women from 11 villages, along with 11 gram vikas karyakartas.

The guest of the event, Shri Damodar ji, gram vikas prant pramukh, inaugurated the program. He emphasized the importance of preserving the valuable traditions upheld by elders in respective villages and also highlighted about how the modern practices are creating a gap in the family and social relationships. He advised them to foster improvement in rural communities, to make collective efforts in improving the education, to cultivate and consume nutritious food, and maintaining good health in building stronger village.

Shri Ashwin Bhusare, director of KIF, elaborated the functioning of the K.I.F. (Karnataka Incubation Foundation), the Foundation’s mission and its commitment to rural progress. He elaborated on how to work in a team, the role of the team in village development, the roles and responsibilities of the village committee in rural development, improving the quality of children’s education through Akshara Abhiyan (literacy campaigns), strengthening farmers financially through farmers training, and creating employment opportunities for rural women. He urged the village committee members to plan various development activities and implement the same for the growth of the village to make it a model village.
